Location Kahshe Lake is situated in the geographic Township of Morrison, south of the Town of Gravenhurst, and east of Highway # 11.  The east end of Kahshe Lake is connected through Housey's Rapids to Bass Lake. Click here to view area maps. Surface Area 7.51 sq. km.  Mean Depth 4.9 m  Maximum Depth 21.3 m  Watershed Area excluding lake 32.6 sq. km. There are approximately 586 cottages surrounding Kahshe Lake. Kahshe Lake has a small area on the south eastern main basin that supports Muskellunge. Other fishing includes Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, and Yellow Perch.
						Directions The cottage is under 2 hours from Toronto. Follow Hwy #400 out of the city to Hwy #11 north, toward Gravenhurst. Exit at Coopers Falls Road, just north of Hwy #169. Follow Coopers Falls Road for 20 minutes to Larroger side road, then follow the signs to the Smith Cottage.
